Benedict Hayes Joins Sociomantic Labs as Managing Director for South East Asia and India

Award-winning digital strategist set to drive continued growth of  Sociomantic in APAC

We are thrilled to announce the appointment of Benedict Hayes as the new Managing Director for South East Asia and India. In this role, Ben—a recognised industry maven with deep expertise in the digital marketing ecosystem and over 15 years of experience in the industry—will focus on accelerating revenue growth and further expansion of our operations in the Asia Pacific region, based in our regional headquarters in Singapore.

We have had the pleasure of providing programmatic solutions in Asia Pacific, the world’s largest digital retail market and the fastest growing e-commerce region globally, since setting up our offices in Singapore and Mumbai in 2013. In the past three years, we’ve had the opportunity to work with front-running e-commerce advertisers in the region like Flipkart, Jabong, eBay, Pepperfry, ZALORA and Berrybenka to deliver programmatic advertising solutions for the full funnel.

The swift growth of e-commerce in Asia Pacific over the past few years has turned the region into a highly competitive market, and to cater to the needs of marketers in these countries, we have been ramping up our operations for nearly two years. With Ben now on board, we are excitedly looking forward to further accelerate our regional expansion plans.

He joins Sociomantic from iProspect, India’s leading digital performance marketing agency and a part of the Dentsu Aegis network, where he spearheaded digital and technological innovation and provided strategic direction to the agency’s Indian and offshore businesses as its Executive Vice President for nearly five years.

Throughout his career, Ben has been a digital evangelist to brands and agencies across the globe, and I am thrilled we can bring on someone with so much knowledge of the full scope of online marketing stellar understanding of digital strategies spanning programmatic, affiliate marketing, analytics and search, coupled with his deep familiarity with the service expectations of marketers in this region will be indispensable as we develop and nurture relationships and continue our APAC expansion.
