From the Americas to Europe to Asia, 2016 has been good to Sociomantic and our clients in terms of industry recognition! It has been humbling to be among such great winners and nominees, in ceremonies all over the world, with our clients by our side.

So here they are: 12 awards stacked up so far this year! We will continue to innovate together with clients in the hopes of winning more honors this year.

Top Latin American Digital Innovator and Grand Winner, PortadaLat Awards (LATAM)

Best Use of Data in a Marketing Campaign with Posthaus, PortadaLat Awards (LATAM)

Posthaus tasked us with helping to grow the numbers of new users visiting its website, and to achieve this we launched a prospecting campaign using real-time data to discover the most qualified new users and display them personalized ads.

The results? During the measured time period for the campaign, the traffic delivered from Sociomantic campaigns deliver an average of 80 percent new-to-site visitors. The combination of technology and data also increased the average number of new visits per month, which by July 2015 was 11,000. The average cost of acquisition of new users, for one year, was 15 percent more efficient than the target set.

Top Travel Marketing Campaign with CVC, PortadaLat Awards (LATAM)

CVC, an online travel agency with more franchises in Brazil than McDonald’s, worked with us to grow its customer base with high quality traffic. Together, we ran programmatic prospecting campaigns to promote specific destinations such as Las Vegas, Aruba, Portugal and Barbados. They funded the campaigns through co-marketing, using marketing budgets from the target destinations.

This resulted in more than 10k new users across all campaigns and an impressive 80 percent average rate of new visitor sessions. CVC achieved not only awareness for the destinations, but also 139 post-click sales from this campaign period.

Silver for Best Use of Consumer Insight/Data Analytics and Best Use of Mobile with Bukalapak, Loyalty & Engagament Awards (APAC)

Bukalapak, an Indonesian online marketplace where local users can buy from and sell to each other, found that half of those who installed its app were not actively using it. As such, they needed a cost-effective solution to bridge the gap between the high number of app installs and the low number of monthly active users (MAUs)—something that AppKit, our proprietary in-app marketing suite, managed to achieve.

The results? All in all, the number of MAUs, screen views, and in-app sales showed a significant uplift with March 2016 having the best performance:

  • + 71.3 per cent in MAUs
  • + 102.6 per cent in screen views
  • + 268.0 per cent in in-app sales

Best Programmatic Campaign with Melia, European Performance Marketing Awards (Europe)

Meliá Hotels International is Spain’s leading hotel brand and an industry pioneer in the application of advanced management, operations and marketing methods. The company runs campaigns with Sociomantic across more than 20 countries in Europe and the Middle East, and in early 2015 wanted to leverage its data assets and advanced programming solutions to enhance its existing display campaigns in the UK.

To tackle these goals, Sociomantic and Meliá focused on two strategies for the UK market: segmentation and data integration. The results? Higher profitability and better budget efficiency.

Our work with Bukalapak was also recognised at the Spark awards, the Indonesian online marketplace that re-engaged idle app users using Sociomantic’s Appkit, our in-app marketing suite. A partnership that has already gotten worldwide recognition, bringing in no less than six awards throughout this year–and counting!

Best Display Campaign with CarTrade, Drivers of Digital Awards (India)

The partnership we developed with CarTrade, India’s leading online auto marketplace, was awarded Best Display Campaign, after the Sociomantic’s campaigns led to an increase of 20 to 30 per cent in conversion rate. Read the case study to know how.
