Case Study: Azul Airlines Boosts Site Traffic by 358%

The airline industry is known to be incredibly competitive. Airlines often face difficulty in building loyalty with travelers as individuals are faced with many options from various carriers, and often prefer to book flights based on the best availability and price they can find.

Azul, a leading budget airline carrier in Brazil, combats this by not only providing a high level of service at a low cost, but by also incentivizing new and existing members to book with them through their loyalty program, TudoAzul. TudoAzul enables travelers to accumulate points which can be used for flight discounts and other travel perks.

To further promote TudoAzul, Azul reached out to Sociomantic to create a campaign that would drive awareness to the program, bring in more traffic to its website and ultimately increase bookings. Together with Sociomantic, Azul ran campaigns that directed existing customers to the TudoAzul site, as well as showed ads to new, qualified prospective customers that demonstrated a high propensity to convert.

The results were incredible: during the two-week campaign, Azul saw a 358% increase in clicks, a 262% increase in impressions and an 18% increase in post-view sales. For more details, download the case study.
