Commercial Director – South East Asia

Your overall responsibility as the Commercial Director is to develop new business for the company and to ensure growth and profitability for Sociomantic Labs throughout South East Asia. This is a leadership role with full P/L and team responsibility reporting in to the Managing Director of Asia Pacific.

 Your Mission

  • Establish new B2B relationships with key executives, clients and partners
  • Develop strategic marketing and sales plans to boost profits and efficiency
  • Provide leadership to position Sociomantic as a leading Ad Tech player in the South East Asian market
  • Set short and long term goals and define the strategies and design the roadmap for achieving them
  • Work closely with the Managing Director of Asia Pacific to realise regional targets
  • Motivate and mentor a collaborate and cohesive local leadership team

Your Track Record

  • 10+ years’ experience in either Agency, Digital Media Sales or Ad Tech Business Development with team management responsibilities
  • Proven, visible, open, and engaging leadership style
  • Experience in working in an international environment
  • Strong familiarity with online marketing industry and in particular RTB
  • A degree in Business, preferably a Master degree in Business (or equivalent) or relevant business experience.
  • Extensive business network and solid references
  • Fluency and strong communication skills in written and spoken English, other languages beneficial (in particular Mandarin)
  • Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to “translate” complex technology processes into meaningful solutions that address business needs
