Benedict Hayes Joins Sociomantic Labs As Managing Director For South East Asia And India

Award-Winning Digital Strategist To Drive Continued Growth of Leading Ad-Tech Player

Mumbai — February 11th, 2016 — Sociomantic Labs, the leading provider of full-funnel programmatic advertising solutions for enterprise advertisers, today announces the appointment of Benedict Hayes as the new Managing Director for South East Asia and India. In this role, Hayes will focus on accelerating revenue growth and further expansion of Sociomantic’s operations in the Asia Pacific region, based in Sociomantic’s regional headquarters in Singapore.

Hayes, a recognised industry maven, brings with him deep expertise in the digital marketing ecosystem gained from over 15 years of experience in the industry. He joins Sociomantic from iProspect, India’s leading digital performance marketing agency and a part of the Dentsu Aegis network, where he spearheaded digital and technological innovation and provided strategic direction to the agency’s Indian and offshore businesses as its Executive Vice President for nearly five years.

Hayes journey in media started 15 years ago, when he began as a media buyer for boutique agencies in London. Later, he played a key role in setting up iProspect Communicate2 in Pune, India, training the team to manage an ad-buying platform for SMEs that he helped to conceptualise and design. That team was later bought by Aegis Media, forming the core of the iProspect India team that exists today—India’s largest digital marketing performance agency.

Hayes eventually moved into SEO and ran his own affiliate business, developing websites and SEO technologies all over the world. Following this, Hayes moved back to London to join a leading agency specialised in SEO, content and social strategies. Five years ago, he reunited with the iProspect team. Today, he joins Sociomantic during a period of rapid growth for the company in the greater APAC region: in the past twelve months, the company launched operations Shanghai, Indonesia, Vietnam and Taiwan, bringing its global presence to 22 offices worldwide.
